Moorabbin Kangaroos Football Club Indigenous Game

As part of our commitment to celebrating and honouring Indigenous culture, Moorabbin Kangaroos Football Club is hosting an Indigenous Game to showcase our newly designed inaugural jumper.

The jumper holds a powerful and unique story, as it was expertly crafted by Waradgerie artist Carmal Mullins, drawing inspiration from the voices, stories, and traditions of First Nations peoples. Carmal's husband, Jono Mullins who plays for our beloved Kangaroos, has been instrumental in this collaborative effort.

The design of the jumper beautifully incorporates Waradgerie symbols and markings, while the lines moving upwards symbolize cultural appreciation, success, growth, and strength. It stands as a tangible testament to the enduring spirit of collaboration and inclusivity, reflecting our club's values and commitment to fostering a diverse and united community.

Join us for this momentous occasion and witness the first-ever wearing of this remarkable jumper during the Indigenous Game. The event promises to be a celebration of culture, sport, and unity.
