Digital parking permits are renter and owner ready

Bayside residents including owners and renters can now register and apply for new digital parking permits.

New digital Beach and Residential Parking Permits are now available via our parking permit portal.

The new digital permits are easy to use, transferrable between vehicles and secure.

With digital parking permits, your number plate is your permit so there's nothing to display. Park with confidence knowing our parking officers can automatically recognise your number plate as your permit via our new technology.

Council has strict data security and privacy processes and policies that guide the use, storage and transfer of customer data and information. We operate in line with Victorian and Australian data guidelines to ensure the safety of digital data including car registration information.

Old permits expiring soon

Current printed (stickers) Beach Parking Permits expire on 30 October 2023.

2023-26 Beach Parking Permit stickers were distributed with the printed rates notices in August.

Resident ratepayers who receive their rates notices via email or BPay View and Bayside tenants can apply for new digital Beach Parking Permits now.
