Flushing out ideas for our Public Toilet Strategy

How can we improve Bayside’s public toilets?

We’re reviewing our Public Toilet Strategy and want to know what to prioritise to meet community needs.

There are 68 public toilets across Bayside, including two Changing Places facilities for people with high or complex accessibility needs – and more under construction.

The standard modern Bayside public toilet includes an ambulant and accessible unisex cubicles, whereas Changing Places ensures people who can’t use a standard accessible toilet have additional facilities they need, such as a hoist, shower and change table.

The draft Strategy outlines our four-year plan for new, upgraded, and replacement public toilets, as well as the criteria for where we’ll build Changing Places facilities.

Is there a Bayside location busting for a new loo or upgraded public toilet?
