Curious about the knitty-gritty of the Black Rock Clock Tower Yarnbombing installation process?

Watch the timelapse now 🎥

If you have travelled by the Black Rock Clock Tower recently, you would have no doubt seen the colourful yarnbombing display standing proud during the depths of Winter.

This yarnbombing installation by community group The GLAD Rappers - along with the other six satellite locations across the Bayside municipality - will be on display for another two-and-a-half weeks before being disassembled, washed and re-stitched into blankets for those in need.

If you're curious about the knitty-gritty of the installation process, we have a timelapse video that shows the nighttime Yarnbomb at Black Rock Clock Tower.

Needle-less to say, the community love it ðŸ§¶

The artwork has been receiving some great feedback from the community, with people leaving lovely comments on social media after seeing it on display:

"Love seeing this, a bright spot in my days."

"Absolutely love it, great community effort. Well done to everyone involved. It did put a smile on my face when I rode past it. I also love the idea that it can be repurposed and the first thing is to gift blankets to the homeless."

"Looks beautiful, inspirational creativity and repurposing of the squares afterwards, well done all involved!"
