Celebrating our inspiring aged care superheroes 🦸
It's Aged Care Employee Day on 7 August and we’re celebrating our inspiring aged care staff who support more than 2,800 older residents to live independently and safely at home.
“We’re committed to being there for our community and as a result have expanded our aged care services to meet the needs of our growing, ageing population,” says Bayside Mayor, Cr Hanna El Mouallem.
“The invaluable services provided by our dedicated Community Care team ensure residents can stay in their homes longer and remain connected to their community.”
Our Community Care team offer a full suite of care and support services - from an extra set of hands around the home and garden to assistance with personal care such as showering and dressing as well as navigating the aged care system.
Beyond care-giving roles, there are many more aged care superheroes working in roles including assessment, leadership, rostering, community development and quality and systems.
