Bayley Arts

Bayley Arts is an innovative and inclusive purpose-built art space for the community to create, learn and connect through art. Located on Avoca Street next to Advantage Road, our newly established building boasts cutting edge art studios and exhibition space. We invite the community to explore our building and join in a range of fun art activities with Bayley artists and special guest artists.

11am to 3pm  Bayley Art Gallery presents works by Adrian Spurr and Joe Monteleone. Come and see the remarkable large format linocut of ‘Flinders Street Station’ by Deafblind artist Joe Monteleone which took more than 800 hours to make along with works created by mentor and acclaimed printmaker Adrian Spurr.

12.30pm to 1.30pm   Printmaking demonstration by Deafblind artist Joe Monteleone and mentor Adrian Spurr. Both artists will demonstrate their individual printmaking techniques on our brand new printing press and talk about their art making processes. This is an Auslan interpreted event.

11am to 3pm  Self-directed drawing activity and take-home print activity facilitated by Bayley Art instructors.

11am to 3pm #BayleyArts photoshoot – Join in the fun in this interactive selfie photoshoot with arty accessories and share on your socials.

Advantage Road - Open Studios 2023

Come along to Advantage Road Open Studios and meet the artists, hear their stories, and learn what makes this community so special... plus there will be food, entertainment and creative fun for the kids.
