Lisa Medved's "The Engraver's Secret", in conversation with Katherine Kovacic

Join us at Brighton Library to celebrate the release of Lisa Medved's debut art history novel, perfect for fans of Jessie Burton, Tracy Chevalier and Maggie O'Farrell. "The Engraver's Secret" is a stunning art history thriller set around the life, times, and feuds of the artist Peter Paul Rubens and tells the story of two women, a mysterious map, and a family secret spanning hundreds of years.

Joining Lisa in conversation will be Katherine Kovacic, who describes herself as an author, art historian, dog trainer (okay, crazy dog lady), and sometime tango dancer. Katherine's latest novel, "Seven Sisters", was one of our favourite reads of 2023, and her PhD in Art History will mean the evening is criminally good for anyone who appreciates art and the artistry of a thrilling book.

'An inspired blend of history and suspense, this wonderful debut novel will inhabit your dreams' Dominic Smith, New York Times bestselling author of "The Last Painting of Sara de Vos" and "Return to Valetto".
