Principals and teachers

We are committed to working with our local schools to assist them in integrating sustainability in their everyday lives and reduce our individual environmental impact.

We provide a range of support tools to schools including training, meetings with Principal and teacher groups, and assistance in funding applications.

Through a partnership with the Port Phillip EcoCentre, Bayside schools have unlimited and free access to attend the Teachers' Environment Network. This network connects teachers who share an interest in the natural environment, provides access to resources, and seeks to help teachers educate their students on the world around them. For more information about the network or to register to attend the next meeting contact the network coordinator via Port Phillip EcoCentre.

The newsletter is a great resource to keep up to date with:

  • Teachers' Environment Network events
  • local, national and international sustainability events
  • funding opportunities
  • curriculum resources
  • inspirational stories and projects ideas.
