Request to be heard at a Council meeting

Please make sure you submit your request prior to 11:00am on the day of the meeting. Requests received after 11:00am on the day of the meeting will not be accepted.

If you are unable to attend the meeting in person, or wish to have another person speak on your behalf, you can nominate a proxy to represent you during your three minutes.

Once you click the submit button below, you will receive an automated acknowledgement email and your request will be forwarded to our Governance office for processing. If you do not receive the automated acknowledgement, please contact the Governance office on (03) 9599 4444.

Should you wish to provide an electronic presentation of photographs/images in support of your 3 minute address to Council, please contact the Governance office on the above mentioned number. All electronic presentations must be in Powerpoint (pptx) format and received by 4:00pm on the day of the meeting. Presentations received after this time will not be accepted.

Any person addressing the Special Committee or Ordinary meeting can speak for 3 minutes with no extension of time able to be granted.
