    You're invited to our first Gardens for Wildlife planting bee 🐝Bayside Gardens for Wildlife program is creating a demonstration garden and nature strip planting to showcase key design elements in a wildlife friendly garden and indigenous plant species suitable for nature strip planting.Please bring closed-toe shoes and gloves.

    Conservation & Conversation Merindah Park and the Urban Forest

    Conservation and Conversation working bees are a great way to learn more about some of Bayside's beautiful heathland, bushland and foreshore reserves and the volunteers who work hard to maintain and improve them. Come along and join in a regular working bee at Merindah Park and the Urban Forest, hear more about the Reserve from the Volunteer Reserve Convenor, John Douglas, while enjoying a cuppa with old friends and new. Date: Sunday, 12th MayLocation: Merindah Park and the Urban Forest.   • Tuning in to Kids Parenting Program

    Tuning in to Kids is an evidenced based, 6-week parenting program for parents/carers to strengthen the emotional connection with their child/children. It teaches skills in emotion coaching to help your child develop skills of emotional intelligence. Children with greater emotional intelligence have been shown to be more resilient and have greater success in being able to self soothe when upset or angry, in making friendships, managing conflict, as well as a predictor of academic and career success.

In this exhibition Belinda explores colour palettes both calming and vibrant & explores staining on canvas and making marks into the paints using different textures. Belinda’s solo exhibition is at ChiaroScuro Art Studio and Gallery, 44 Edith St Beaumaris, opposite Beaumaris Primary School, Opening night is Friday 17th May 4pm - 7pm with wine and cheese, register by following the eventbooking link.

    Join us for Bayside’s Volunteer Expo at Brighton Town Hall, Monday 20 May 3:00pm – 6:00pm. There will be over 35 volunteer involving organisations showcasing their volunteer programs, as well as over 30 council-run volunteer programs. Community First Aid Responders are running a 1 hour First Aid Course, with registrations required. Register your interest to attend the Volunteer Expo below, including reserving a place for the First Aid course:
