Conservation and Conversation

Conservation and Conversation working bees are a great way to learn more about some of Bayside's beautiful heathland, bushland and foreshore reserves and the volunteers who work hard to maintain and improve them.

Come along and join in a regular working bee and hear more about the Reserve from the Volunteer Reserve Convenor while enjoying a cuppa with old friends and new.

Two of our Reserves are holding Conversation and Conservation working bees, conveniently located a short walk from each other.

Balcombe Park Reserve, Balcome Rd, Beaumaris from 10am-12pm

and

Long Hollow Heathland, Reserve Rd, Beaumaris from 1pm-3pm

All equipment required for the working bee will be provided. Please remember to wear appropriate clothing, closed toe shoes and a mug or KeepCup, if you wish to have a cuppa.

As this event coincides with City Nature Challenge you are also encouraged to record any observations of local plants and animals using the iNaturalist app.
