Advocating for Hampton Post Office
Australia Post will hold two community consultation sessions.
On behalf of our local community, Bayside Mayor, Cr Hanna El Mouallem, has advocated to Australia Post for a review of the recent decision to close the Hampton Post Office.
We have today been advised that Australia Post will hold two community consultation sessions at the Hampton Post Office to understand what matters to the community around postal services.
Representatives from Australia Post will be available to listen to community members.
- Community Consultation 1 - Thursday 6 April, 10am – 12pm, 440 Hampton St Hampton.
- Community Consultation 2 - Wednesday 12 April, 2pm – 4pm, 440 Hampton St Hampton.

Council will continue to advocate for reconsideration of the decision to close the post office or for co-location of the services of Australia Post with another service provider or business within the Hampton activity centre.
