Annual community survey underway

During March and April, we’re conducting Council’s annual Community Satisfaction Survey to better understand community experiences with our broad range of our services and facilities, as well as other issues of concern in Bayside.

We‘ve engaged Metropolis Research to conduct the survey to get your feedback on how we can improve our performance. Researchers will visit more than 700 randomly selected Bayside households for a 15-minute survey. Participation is voluntary and completely confidential, and we encourage you to have your say.

Our researchers will have identification and introduce themselves to you. We encourage you to view their ID and always be mindful of scams.

The survey involves a conversation to truly understand the issues that are important to Bayside residents. It measures residents’ satisfaction with overall performance, services, facilities, planning and development, traffic and parking, customer service, and planning for population growth, along with other issues. This year’s results will be published in full on Council’s website in June 2024.

We’re also emailing a short, online survey to community members who have recently contacted Council with an enquiry or request for service. This survey will be ongoing to facilitate direct and regular feedback about individual customer experiences.

The results of both surveys will enable a better understanding of customer needs and will help us to improve our service delivery and customer experience.

Council will never ask for financial information as part of these surveys. If you have any concerns regarding the surveys, please contact us on 03 9599 4444.
