New waste trucks show off Bayside beauty
Our new bin collection contractor, Cleanaway, is picking up operations from 1 July.
Scheduled bin days will remain the same, however your bin collection times might vary due to the transition.
Please wait until after 6pm on the day of your collection before reporting a missed bin.
The new waste truck fleet contains an electric vehicle, reflecting our dedication to reducing carbon emissions and promoting eco friendly practices as outlined in the Climate Emergency Action Plan.
Smaller profile vehicles are also included in the fleet, designed to service harder to access areas within the municipality.
The trucks feature designs showcasing iconic Bayside landmarks – Dendy Beach, Yalukit Willam Nature Reserve and Ricketts Point.
All the new fleet are fitted with the latest cutting-edge safety technology and advanced camera systems that can be used to track and monitor contamination.
