    Free

    Book into these twenty minute one-on-one sessions with a staff member to help you with your device. Please remember to bring your own device. These sessions will be run at Beaumaris Library, Sandringham Library, Hampton Library and Brighton Library. Please click the link to find out more about dates and times. Bookings are essential.

  • Dance Movement for People with Dementia

    Free

    Experience the joy of movement and connection in our Dance Movement program for individuals with dementia and their carers. Through simple activities, we create a space for expression, using rhythm and music to relax and reconnect. All abilities are welcome, with activities adapted to individual needs. As a carer support initiative this program provides a supportive environment for both carers and individuals with dementia. Please wear closed shoes for comfort and safety during sessions.

    Exhibition opening - Bayside Painting Prize 2024

    You're invited to the opening of the 2024 Bayside Painting Prize exhibition, announcement of the winner of the $25,000 major prize and the $10,000 Beckett Local Prize. Visitors will also have the opportunity to vote for the $1,000 People's Choice Prize on the night.

    Join us at Brighton Library to celebrate the release of Lisa Medved's debut art history novel, perfect for fans of Jessie Burton, Tracy Chevalier and Maggie O'Farrell. "The Engraver's Secret" is a stunning art history thriller set around the life, times, and feuds of the artist Peter Paul Rubens and tells the story of two women, a mysterious map, and a family secret spanning hundreds of years.

    You are invited to drop into Castlefield Community Centre for a free cuppa and chat. Our café is a place to connect with others and form new relationships. Everyone is welcome and there are volunteers who will greet you on arrival; Please come alone or bring a friend. Our cafe runs every Friday during the school term. It is a free event and no bookings are required.
