New and faster ways to repair our footpaths and kerbs
Our new Road Management Plan now includes more repair options for fixing defects in our local footpaths and kerb and channels.
These new repair options allow us to use different methods, including grinding, repairing, or replacing faults, to fix defects in concrete footpaths and kerb and channels in a more efficient manner.
The plan also allows for increasing the width of footpaths (where and when possible) to achieve minimum compliance with the Disability Discrimination Act 1992.
This new plan will help us to continue delivering our maintenance works to provide safer, more accessible footpaths, kerbs and roads for our community.
