Tai Snaith: Hierarchy of needs exhibition

Stroll through the Hierarchy of needs exhibition by Melbourne artist and author Tai Snaith. Celebrating wild and interesting animals from around the world, this playful and educational exhibition explores the important roles these creatures play in Earth’s biodiversity.

Appealing to kids and adults alike, discover the marvellous world of animals and their habitats through Tai's collaged, hand-cut and painted artworks.

Kids will be thrilled with our hands-on 'signature table' where they can design their own signature and add it to our signature wall.

Great Art Detective

Who doesn’t want to be a spy? Children will relish the chance of becoming a detective and hunting for clues throughout the Gallery in both our Tai Snaith: Hierarchy of needs and Jonathan Walker: Capturing details usually screened exhibitions. Kids get to complete a fun activity and at the end they'll receive their very own limited edition exhibition badge!

Creating collage animals

Come along to Brighton Town Hall for a creative collage activity. Based on Tai Snaith's current exhibition Hierarchy of needs showing at Bayside Gallery, children will be guided to create their very own collage of animals in their natural habitat. Guided by a facilitator, this drop-in activity will be available between 2pm - 4pm on Thursday 13 April and Thursday 20 April and is expected to take around 20-30 minutes to complete.

All materials provided. No bookings necessary.

This event is free and is suitable for children aged 6 - 12 years. Children under 8 require parent or guardian supervision.
